CDC’s Public Health Law Program and Center for Preparedness and Response, the National Governor’s Association, and the American Bar Association’s Health Law Section are hosting the last in a series of “Preparedness and Response for Public Health Emergencies: Exploring the Role of Law” webinars on December 12, 2019, at 2:00 pm (EST). This webinar will provide an overview of the legal authorities to collect, use, share, and protect information in a public health emergency. Experts will also discuss constitutional considerations with sharing medical information and applicable federal and state statutes.
