CDC’s Division of Laboratory Sciences released new data to the Fourth National Report on Human Exposure to Environmental Chemicals, an ongoing biomonitoring assessment of the U.S. population’s exposure to environmental chemicals.
The Updated Tables, February, 2015 provides nationally-representative biomonitoring data from CDC’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) that has become available since the publication of the Fourth Report in 2009.
Since the release of the Updated Tables, August 2014, 139 chemicals have updated tables and 65 chemicals have been added. This current release includes previous updates to the tables, provides new data for some metals, phthalates, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and includes adult cigarette smokers and nonsmokers special samples.
The Updated Tables, February 2015 and additional resources are now available on CDC’sNational Exposure Report webpage.
