Patient Safety Learning Laboratories – New AHRQ FOA Posted

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) recently posted a new funding opportunity announcement (FOA) that calls for the creation and utilization of patient safety learning laboratories. These laboratories will include both places and professional networks where threats to patient safety can be identified, multidisciplinary teams can generate new ways of thinking about the threats, and brainstorming and rapid prototyping techniques will lead to the development and testing of promising design features and systems to improve patient safety. Letters of intent are due March 27, and the application receipt date is April 27, 2015.
