Thursday, April 30, 2015
Save the Date: The Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP) Data Users Workshop will take place on Thursday, April 30, at the AHRQ Conference Center in Rockville, MD, 20850.
Sponsored by AHRQ, the HCUP Data Users Workshop is a one-day course on the use of HCUP databases and software tools. This year, the Workshop will focus on the newly released 2012 National (Nationwide) Inpatient Sample (NIS) and conducting analytics over time using NIS data. It will be an intermediate level course for people that have familiarity with HCUP or with large administrative databases. Computers will be provided and instructor-led programming examples will be presented in SAS. It is highly recommended that attendees review the HCUP Online Overview Course prior to the workshop.
Registration for the April 30 HCUP Data Users Workshop will open on Wednesday, March 18. An announcement will be posted on the HCUP User Support (HCUP-US) Web site under What's New and on theHCUP Events Calendar. A full program description, registration form, and logistical information will be available. There is no charge for attendance. If you have questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
