Graduating pediatrics residents' reports on the impact of fatigue over the past decade of duty hour changes.

Schumacher DJ, Frintner MP, Winn A, Cull W. Acad Pediatr. 2015;15:362-366.

In this study, pediatric residents reported less fatigue in 2013 compared to earlier surveys in 2002 and 2004, but they were equally likely to report making an error in patient care related to fatigue at all time points. These results are consistent with prior studies that found limited evidence for improvements in safety due toduty-hours reform.
