Sept. 8th- Join Us! Medicare & Medicaid at 50: Their Past, Present & Future Impact on Health Equity

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

Registration is re-opened due to increased demand for the OMH “Medicare & Medicaid at 50: Their Past, Present & Future Impact on Health Equity” conference.

The CMS Office of Minority Health will commemorate the 50th anniversary of Medicare & Medicaid and the 30th anniversary of the 1985 Report of the Secretary’s Task Force on Black and Minority Health also known as the Heckler Report, and how our knowledge of health disparities has evolved and the remaining challenges. This will be an opportunity for attendees to learn about the steps CMS is taking to reduce disparities, improve the quality of care and forge new frontiers in our programs to reduce disparities in the post-Heckler world.
