State Strategies Project
Thursday, September 3, 2015
CDC, in partnership with the National Governors Association and the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, has recently developed state strategies to improve health and control costs. These tools and resources provide specific, evidence-based population health strategies that can be integrated into healthcare delivery systems.
Visit the State Strategies Project website to find disease-specific technical packages, key messages to use when promoting state strategies, and sample social media messages and graphics. Using these strategies to control tobacco use, manage asthma, and prevent and treat tooth decay can improve health outcomes and reduce the cost of care within as few as five years.
