Join the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) for two panels of distinguished public and private sector partners highlighting advancements in interoperability and usability. This event will be hosted by Principal Deputy National Coordinator for Health IT Genevieve Morris and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health Technology Reform John Fleming, MD.

Registration is now open for the 2017 ONC Annual Meeting! This year’s Annual Meeting, Tackling Barriers to Interoperability and Usability, will feature engaging keynotes, panels, and breakout sessions with public and private partners sharing their experiences of improving the usability and interoperability of health IT. A detailed agenda will be available soon.

SEPTEMBER 29: 21st Century Cures Act Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement Meeting #2 – Webinar Recording Will be Available in OctoberONC recently announced the second 21st Century Cures Act Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement online listening session. The demand to attend the listening session has been high; the web session is now full. We will be posting a recording after the session and will share the details about that recording through this email subscription when it becomes available in October. 

OCTOBER 2: Health IT Playbook Webinar
Join us as we highlight new material that is being added to the Health IT Playbook. The most prominent addition is the American Medical Association (AMA) STEPS Forward modules. These modules are an interactive practice transformation series offering innovative strategies helping physicians and their staff manage the evolving health care environment. We are also adding features on opioids and prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs) as well as behavioral health.

OCTOBER 4: National Health IT Week Twitter Chat: “Ask ONC” ONC invites Twitter followers to join an online conversation looking at the current and future state of health IT, nationwide interoperability, suggestions to reducing clinician burden, and much more. Registration is not required for this event.
