Researchers and patients convene for Biden Cancer Summit
Cancer researchers, drug industry representatives, and cancer patients are all gathering in D.C. today for the Biden Cancer Summit, a conference put on by the cancer initiative launched by former Vice President Joe Biden and Jill Biden. The event includes a look at the latest research advances with CRISPR pioneer Feng Zhang of the Broad Institute and UCSF breast cancer researcher and oncologist Dr. Laura Esserman. Jill Biden will open the summit this morning, and Joe Biden will deliver a speech tonight. You can tune in to the summit live here.
