Using drug knowledgebase information to distinguish between look-alike-sound-alike drugs.

Look-alike, sound-alike drugs are a known safety risk and contribute to medication errors. In keeping with prior research, this study suggests that drug indication data may be helpful in reducing the risk associated with prescribing look-alike, sound-alike medications.
