The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force seeks comments on a draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review on behavioral counseling interventions to prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The Task Force recommends behavioral counseling for all sexually active teens and for adults who are at increased risk for STIs. The draft recommendation statement and draft evidence review are available for review and public comment from December 17, 2019 through January 21, 2020 here.
