National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR)

NCTR Dashboard: NCTR continues to ensure that research animals are provided quality animal care, with 90% of animal care / diet preparation technical personnel certified by the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) as of May 2015.

Office of the Commissioner (OC)

Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS) Dashboard:  Women’s Equality Day was on August 26, 2015! FDA tracks key projects aimed at advancing women’s and minority health.

• The Office of Women’s Health (OWH) conducts important outreach to facilitate consumer access to information on FDA regulated products and issues of importance to women.
• The Office of Minority Health (OMH) added new milestones to the “Minority Health and Health Disparities Research and Collaboration Program” project to track the latest intramural studies undertaken to improve and strengthen regulatory science as it relates to sub-population data associations with race and ethnicity.
