HHS pursues reusable respirator to better protect medical providers during pandemics In a pandemic, first responders and healthcare providers will be on the front lines of a response and protective equipment could be in short supply. BARDA is supporting the development of a respirator that could be used up to 100 times. Reusable respirators could protect health professionals and first responders, decrease the likelihood of shortages of  protective equipment, and lower stockpiling costs. Learn More >>
