Office of Generic Drugs 2017 Annual Report Now Available Today, the Food and Drug Administration Office of Generic Drugs (OGD) posted their 2017 annual report.  In 2017, the FDA approved and tentatively approved 1,027 generic drug applications, the most in the history of the United States Generic Drug program. Generic medicines benefit public health by providing access and more affordable, high quality treatments for patients.
