CDC’s Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response (OPHPR) has released its 10th annual preparedness report, Public Health Preparedness and Response 2018 National Snapshot [PDF-7.7MB]. The report highlights preparedness activities and investments at the federal, state, and local levels and features stories that demonstrate the impact of these activities.
Fact sheets are available for each of the state, local, and territorial awardees of the Public Health Emergency Program (PHEP) cooperative agreement funding from 2015 to 2017. The fact sheets show trends and progress related to the 15 public health preparedness capabilities that are defined in the cooperative agreement, and they present data on the number of PHEP-funded field staff, medical countermeasure strengths and challenges, and state and local Emergency Operations Center activations.
