 Media-Smart Youth

Media-Smart Youth®: Eat, Think and Be Active! is an after-school program designed to help young people ages 11 to 13 understand the connections between media and health, and to help youth build media analysis and production skills. The program uses nutrition and physical examples to help youth think critically about how media influences the choices they make.

The Media-Smart Youth training series is presented by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and co-hosted by Let’s Move Faith and Communities.

For those of you who attended our Media-Smart Youth webinar last month, we are attaching a list of responses to some of your questions about how to implement the program in your communities and congregations! Stay tuned for future trainings!

Please spread the word about these exciting trainings to your friends and colleagues and check ourwebsite regularly for updates!

With deep appreciation for the work that you do to keep our communities and congregations healthy and active,

The Let’s Move Faith & Communities Team at the
