1:30 -3:00 pm Eastern Time
Conference Call Only

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a Special Open Door Forum to allow Doctors of Chiropractic and other interested parties who accept Medicare assignment to discuss questions related to education and training outlined in the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA) of 2015.
One of the purposes of Section 514 of MACRA, entitled “Oversight of Medicare Coverage of Manual Manipulation of the Spine to Correct Subluxation,” is to improve the ability of Doctors of Chiropractic to document services, thus, reduce the denial of claims and increase compliance with Medicare policies. CMS will develop the educational and training programs in consultation with the Medicare Administrative Contractors and stakeholders, including the American Chiropractic Association. The educational and training programs are intended to address concerns of all involved stakeholders representing the chiropractic community on how to best document chiropractic services properly for the Medicare beneficiaries.

We look forward to your participation.
