Evaluation Report
As part of its mission, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) provides a variety of extramural funding opportunities designed to support and enhance the education and career development of emerging health services researchers. Having supported several influencers and leaders in health services research and related domains, the AHRQ Individual Mentored Career Development (K) Award Program has been one of AHRQ’s longstanding training support programs and constitutes the focus of the current evaluation.
The purpose of this evaluation report is to describe and understand the return on the agency’s investment in supporting AHRQ K Awardees with respect to research career outcomes as well as post-AHRQ K Award research, practice, and policy impacts.
