Held in conjunction with CADCA's 27th Annual National Leadership Forum February 6–9, 2017, this year's Prevention Day theme is The Power of Prevention: Strengthening Community Voices.
Participants will have an opportunity to learn about effective programs and the latest developments and resources in the areas of substance use/misuse prevention and treatment and mental health. Educational sessions will address emerging issues related to underage drinking and alcohol misuse, tobacco use, prescription drug and opioid misuse, illicit drug use, mental health, and wellness, among others. These sessions will offer strategies for empowering individuals and communities to lead healthier, more productive lives.
