NAvy Vice Adm. Raquel Bono, director, Defense Health Agency (DHA), held a town hall Dec. 6, 2016, from the agency’s headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, with connections to satellite offices around the country.
Bono updated DHA workers on the status of several items, including the National Defense Authorization Act, better known as the defense spending bill, currently working its way through the legislative process.
The admiral also thanked those attending in person and through the video connections for their work during 2016 and said she is looking forward to the opportunities ahead in 2017.
“You’re the whole reason we could do any of this work at all,” said Bono, adding it’s truly a team effort. “We could not do what we want to do without everyone pitching in together.”
