AHRQ Patient Safety Resources Included in The Joint Commission’s New Compendium of Resources



Several AHRQ patient safety tools are included in The Joint Commission’s newly released Compendium of Resources, Discharge Instructions for Venous Thromboembolism (VTE): A Comprehensive Approach to Medication Management. The Compendium, available at no charge, was developed to determine the types of patient discharge education materials that are provided to VTE patients discharged on anticoagulants other than warfarin.
