G11 Prospective Applicants Webinar

G11 Webinar
Please join us on Thursday, April 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET for an NIAID G11 Prospective Applicants Webinar! This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the NIAID Global Infectious Disease Research Administration Development Award (G11) for Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC) Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA)
The overall intent of the FOA is to support the training of senior administrators and empower them to serve as local institutional grants management leaders; provide them with access to good business practices for managing awards; provide administrative project funds; assist the administrative staff in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for tracking grant expenditures and complying with NIH funding policies; and assist or train other administrators in the local area.
During the webinar, attendees will learn about
  • Purpose and scope of the G11 FOA
  • FOA and related updates
  • Eligibility and related requirements
  • Budget considerations – allowable cost
  • Persons that can serve as the grant’s Principle Investigator (PI) – research grant administrators or scientist that manage research awards
  • Application, Submission and Peer Review processes
