Substance-Exposed Newborns: Collaborative Approaches to a Complex Issue National Summit

June 23-24, 2010 | Old Town Alexandria, VA

This national summit will convene approximately 250 professionals from the fields of child welfare, maternal-child health, obstetrics, pediatrics, nursing, social work, courts, and drug treatment. There will be interdisciplinary dialogue, information sharing, and exploration of policies and collaborative approaches. The goal is to prevent, identify, and address the needs of substance-exposed newborns.

This event is hosted by the National Abandoned Infants Assistance Resource Center and co-sponsored by NCSACW and the Administration on Children, Youth and Families, Administration for Children and Families, of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Children's Bureau.
