Yesterday, Secretary Burwell presented the President’s HHS Budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2016. The budget requests $83.8 billion in discretionary budget authority for HHS, and lays out a strategy to strengthen our middle class and help America’s hard-working families get ahead. The budget protects the progress we’re making to provide all Americans with access to quality, affordable health care. The budget supports our work to improve the way care is delivered. It also makes critical investments in health care, science, innovation and human services. Here are just some of the key investments the President’s FY 2016 budget makes:
