Director, Division of Intramural Research

NIAID is seeking an exceptional and visionary leader for the position of director of the Division of Intramural Research (DIR). The DIR director provides overall executive direction and scientific leadership to this large and complex intramural research program and serves as a principal advisor to the NIAID director on biomedical scientific affairs involving Institute research programs.

Applicants must have an earned M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent degree, be a U.S. citizen, and exhibit exceptional leadership ability managing complex basic, translational, and clinical research programs.
