Medicaid and CHIP enrollment is open year-round. Eligible individuals can enroll at any time and get coverage right away. 
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is offering a set of Medicaid fact sheets that help consumers understand the basics of who is eligible, program benefits,and how to enroll.
