Webinar About Linking Data and Quality: A Look at Antibiotic Resistance. CDC’s Public Health Law Program (PHLP) and the American Health Lawyers Association will cohost the second webinar in a three-part series about healthcare data and the law in the 21st century. The second webinar will examine antibiotic stewardship and the effects of value-based systems and Medicare access requirements on antibiotic prescription control in the CHIP Reauthorization Act. Presenters will also discuss the first national regulations aimed at improving antibiotic use in long-term care facilities. This free webinar will take place July 19, 2017, 1:00–2:30 pm (EDT).

- Baby Food FACTS is an analysis of the nutritional content of food and drink products marketed to parents for their babies and toddlers (up to age 3). The analysis describes the marketing messages used to promote these products and notes how closely the messages correspond with expert advice about feeding young children.
- Snack FACTS is an analysis of the nutritional quality of snack foods currently marketed on TV, through the Internet, and in schools to children and teens in the United States. The analysis documents the amount of snack food advertising in all media by brand, company, and category in 2014. It includes comparisons with marketing practices from five years earlier and measures young people’s exposure to snack food advertising on TV and the Internet.
