ONC-Authorized Certification Bodies (ACBs) and Accredited Testing Labs (ATLs) Scope Expansion for 2014 Edition Testing and Certification

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is pleased to announce that ONC-Authorized Certification Bodies (ACBs) in the ONC HIT Certification Program are now authorized to test and certify EHR products in accordance with the 2014 Edition Standards and Certification Criteria, as outlined in the Health Information Technology: Standards, Implementation Specifications, and Certification Criteria for Electronic Health Record Technology, 2014 Edition; Revisions to the Permanent Certification Program for Health Information Technology Final Rule.
