Cypress Clinical Quality Measures (CQM) Testing Platform Demonstration

The ONC Certification Program provides a defined process to ensure that Certified Electronic Health Record Technology (CEHRT) meets the adopted standards and certification criteria to help providers and hospitals achieve Meaningful Use objectives and measures established by the Department of Health and Human Services. Certification requires that CEHRT software products and Electronic Health Record (EHR) modules be tested, as applicable, for the capability to accurately capture, calculate and report Clinical Quality Measure (CQM) results.

Cypress is an official ONC certified tool for the rigorous and repeatable testing of EHRs and EHR modules in calculating 2014 Meaningful Use CQMs. Cypress has encoded the measure logic required in software implementation and has released Eligible Professionals (EP), Eligible Hospitals (EH) and QRDA (Category 1 and Category 3) test decks in this production version. Vendors can now download these test decks within their EHRs to test 2014 eCQM certification requirements. View and use the test decks at www.healthit.gov/cypress.
