. When To Stop a Registry; Use of Registries in Product Safety Assessment
.. Linking Registry Data
... Technical and Legal Considerations
.... Interfacing Registries and Electronic Health Records
Also, important updates have been made to existing chapters, including Principles of Registry Ethics, Data Ownership and Privacy, which now addresses recent developments affecting the privacy rule and new laws including the HITECH Act and the Genetic Nondiscrimination Act. The handbook also includes thirty-eight case studies examining real challenges in the development, use and analysis of registries.
