Public Comment Template for the Enhanced Oversight and Accountability Proposed Rule

ONC today has released a public comment template for the “ONC Health IT Certification Program: Enhanced Oversight and Accountability” proposed rule. This template provides a simple and organized way for stakeholders to submit comments on proposals and respond to specific questions posed in the preamble of the proposed rule. While the use of this template is entirely voluntary, ONC encourages stakeholders to consider using the template in lieu of unstructured comments or to use it as an addendum to narrative cover pages because it may facilitate ONC’s review and understanding of the comments received.

To be assured consideration, all comments must be received no later than 5 p.m. on May 2, 2016.
