- Request for proposals on evaluation of malaria vaccine RTS,S/AS01 pilot implementation in Ghana, Kenya and Malawi from the World Health Organization (WHO).
Application deadline: June 29, 2017 - ASTMH offers the Centennial Travel Award in Basic Science Tropical Disease Research. The $25,000 award provides physicians or scientists the opportunity for field experience in combination with laboratory studies of parasitic, bacterial or viral infectious diseases in endemic low/low-middle income countries. Submit applications forms to ASTMH.
Application deadline: July 12, 2017 - The joint Infectious Diseases in Africa (IDA) Symposium and South African Immunology Society (SAIS) meeting September 3-9, 2017 in Cape Town, South Africa, is accepting abstracts and scholarship applications. Accepted participants will be awarded a full scholarship (travel and accommodation).
