National Survey of Family Growth

The new public use data files from the 2006-2010 NSFG have been released on the NSFG webpage today (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsfg.htm).   

These data files are based on interviews conducted from June 2006 through June 2010.  These files contain the 13,495 cases from the 2006-2008 NSFG release with the addition of 9,187 new cases interviewed in 2009 and 2010, for a total data file of 22,682 interviews with men and women 15-44 years of age. The previous 2006-2008 NSFG documentation has been replaced with documentation for the full four-year 2006-2010 NSFG data files.  
The newly released materials for the 2006-2010 NSFG include:
·         ASCII data files (male respondent, female respondent, female pregnancy)
·         Program statements (setup files) for SAS, Stata, and SPSS
·         Codebook documentation
·         Questionnaires
·         User’s Guide  
The first report based on these new 2006-2010 data has also been released today:
