CDC's Division of Reproductive Health is pleased to announce that
2011 Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) data
is now available on the
CPONDER system. CPONDER contains
prevalence and trends data for over 190 indicators from the PRAMS
survey from 2000 through 2011 and the 2009-2010 flu survey
supplement.
PRAMS is a state, population based surveillance system of women
who recently delivered a live-born infant. PRAMS collects information
on mothers behaviors and experiences before, during, and after
pregnancy. Currently 40 states and New York City participate in PRAMS.
PRAMS provides ongoing, high-quality maternal and infant health data
that can be used for planning programs and informing policies.
