Health Literacy Articles and Resource Now Available |
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality piloted the tools of the AHRQ Health Literacy Universal Precautions Toolkit as part of developing the toolkit’s second edition. Two articles have been published about the piloting of Tool 8: Conduct Brown Bag Medicine Reviews and Tool 11: Assess, Select, and Create Easy-to-Understand Materials:

29/1/18.long), and - Using the Health Literacy Universal Precautions Toolkit to Improve the Quality of Patient Materials.
Also new on the AHRQ Health Literacy Universal Precautions Toolkit, Second edition’s landing page is information on how to obtain a crosswalk between Accreditation Canada’s Primary Care Standards and Medicine Services Standards and tools in the toolkit.
