Proposed New National Patient Safety Goal on Pediatric Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging.

Radiation risks are a patient safety concern due to overuse of diagnostic imaging in health care. This proposed National Patient Safety Goal seeks to address the overexposure ofpediatric patients to radiation through the use of computed tomography. The deadline for submitting comments on this document is March 31, 2016.
