CMS has posted frequently asked questions concerning the Medicare Outpatient Observation Notice (MOON).  The “MOON FAQs” are available on the CMS website:    www.cms.gov/bni

As a reminder, Hospitals and critical access hospitals (CAHs) must begin using the MOON no later than March 8, 2017.
