Award for Excellence in Medication-Use Safety.

American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

The Award for Excellence in Medication-Use Safety is a national competition that honors outstanding leadership, teamwork, innovation, and measurable results in patient safety improvements. The award is designed to recognize a pharmacy-led, multidisciplinary team effort. The winner of the award will receive $50,000, and two finalists will receive $10,000 each. The deadline for submitting letters of intent for the 2015 funding cycle is November 14, 2014.
