Virtual Training for Continuing Education Credit (CEU)
The CMS National Training Program presents “Understanding Medicare.” This training is intended for CMS partners and stakeholders who are new to Medicare or simply wanting a refresher, and who are required to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as licensed professionals.
This session will provide an overview of the Medicare program basics Part A (Hospital insurance), Part B (Medical Insurance), Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans), Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage), programs to help people with limited income and resources and information about additional program resources.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is authorized by IACET to offer .4 CEU(s) for this program. CEU will be awarded to participants who meet all criteria for successful completion of this educational activity. CEU credit for this course expires October 3, 2014.
To receive credit once per year, participants must:
- Complete the registration and save the confirmation with links to access the full curriculum
- Complete the pre-assessment prior to Session 1 on September 16, 2014
- Attend all four hours of the training on September 16th and 17th, 2014
- Complete the course evaluation
