Improving incident reporting among physician trainees.

Incident reporting is widely implemented to detect adverse events, but its effectiveness is hindered by underreporting. This pre–post study found that an educational intervention with resident physicians led to a significant increase in incident reports. The authors suggest that this intervention may enhance incident reporting in other institutions.
