Clozapine as a Tool in Mental Health Recovery
SAMHSA's Recovery to Practice program introduces a new on-demand continuing medical education (CME) course offering information and resources for physicians, clinicians, and other practitioners who are considering exploring the use of clozapine with individuals experiencing psychotic symptoms. Through virtual grand rounds, and with a focus on a case-based scenario, this 1-hour course will help the participant better understand the U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidelines, who might benefit from clozapine, risks and benefits of clozapine, and how to engage in shared decision-making with individuals about using this medication.
Professionals will receive 1 CME credit (provided by American Academy of Family Physicians) for participation in this course.
Clinical Decision Support for Prescribers Treating Individuals With Co-Occurring Disorders
