The influenza pandemic of 1918 killed more people than any other disease outbreak before or since. Join us on Tuesday, April 10, at 3 p.m. for the 2018 John Ring LaMontagne lecture, The Mother of All Pandemics and Her Naughty Children, by Dr. David Morens. Dr. Morens will discuss what is known (and still unknown) about the 1918 pandemic and how research today is leading to better ways to combat the flu. The lecture will be held in the NIH Clinical Center Lipsett Amphitheater and will be videocast.
