The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is hosting a webinar Friday, September 13 from 2 – 3:30 p.m. ET on the future of health IT enabled quality measurement. The webinar provides a snapshot of a forthcoming publication titled, “Health IT-Enabled Quality Measurement: Perspectives, Pathways, and Practical Guidance.”
Panelists will present findings and lessons learned from a 2-year project that sought public comment through a Federal Register Notice as well as through focus groups with experts in the field. The project explored how health IT is advancing the science of quality measurement and identified gaps that deserve prioritization in future research. Perspectives were gathered on simultaneous engagement of multiple-stakeholders; quality measurement; practical guidance on measure development, implementation, and testing; and, data elements and data capture.
