Health IT Standards Committee and Task Forces

Spring has sprung and with it comes some changes to the Health IT Standards Committee (#HITSC). "We believe that an HITSC with targeted, time-limited task forces will be a better way to get the expert and public feedback we need," wrote Dr. Jon White, the acting deputy national coordinator in a Buzz blog post we published Wednesday. "This approach also provides task force members with clear and finite time commitments to study an issue with more specificity on the scope and nature of a task force's work," White wrote. Read the blog post for all the details!
