Opportunity to Comment on Satisfaction Surveys

In accordance with the Affordable Care Act, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have developed enrollee surveys that assess consumer experience with the Marketplaces (i.e., a health insurance exchange) and the qualified health plans (QHPs) offered through the Marketplaces. Each Marketplace will display information from the QHP surveys to allow individuals to assess enrollee experience among comparable plans. 

CMS is seeking public comment on its intention to collect information from the public using the QHP Enrollee Survey and the Marketplace survey. These surveys, which use or adapt many items from the CAHPS family of surveys, include questions on how easy information was to understand and on interpreter services.
