2015 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Conference

BRFSS and the Next Generation of Population Health Surveillance

Please join us for the 31^st conference of the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS). With assistance provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the BRFSS is conducted by all states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, Palau, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Federated States of Micronesia. The BRFSS is the primary source of data about the health-related behaviors among adults for many states and provides a mechanism for monitoring local, state, and national health objectives.  

We anticipate an exciting and informative conference with participation from public health professionals; members of academia; and partners from federal, state, and international programs. This year's conference will feature sessions on the importance and challenges of health surveillance at the national, state, and local level; the impact of BRFSS on health policy; and recent BRFSS research activities and analytic updates.

Pre-conference training sessions will be provided, free of charge, on a variety of topics that are related to the collection and analysis of BRFSS data. Space is limited, so register quickly!
