Dear Partners
Through this newsletter, the HHS Partnership Center provides quick insight into resources, webinars and potential grant opportunities and awards in your local community.
ACA is working!
Thanks to the ACA, no American can ever again be dropped or denied coverage because of a pre-existing health condition like HIV. The Affordable Care Act helps all Americans, including those at risk for or living with HIV, have access to the best quality coverage and care. Under the ACA, most new health insurance plans must cover certain recommended preventive services—including HIV testing for everyone ages 15 to 65—without additional cost-sharing, such as copays or deductibles. This week the Office of National AIDS Policy released an update on the Affordable Care Act and & HIV/AIDS coverage and care!
