Innovative Adaptation and Dissemination of AHRQ Comparative Effectiveness Research Products
In 2010, AHRQ invested $30 million of its American Recovery and Reinvestment Act budget to fund 21 3-year grants to extend the reach and impact of comparative effectiveness research (CER) among hard-to-reach populations, including the elderly; those with limited English proficiency, limited education or limited insurance coverage; those with minority or immigrant status or health literacy problems; or other underserved populations who may have limited contact with the health care system or health information. This portfolio of grants, the Innovative Adaptation and Dissemination of AHRQ Comparative Effectiveness Research Products, called iADAPT, was designed to disseminate CER using audience-preferred format, channels, and contexts.
The researchers and projects AHRQ funded under this program are listed below both by health conditions studied and alphabetically. Titles link to research profiles on the topic.
