This award program recognizes organization-wide commitment to the six key goals outlined in Crossing the Quality Chasm: safety, effectiveness, patient-centeredness, timeliness, efficiency, and equity. The 2014 honorees are the VCU Medical Center, Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast, Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Medical Center, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, and University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. The deadline for 2015 award submissions is October 12, 2014.
