MMWR 2014;(Early Release):1-7  On March 30, 2014, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Liberia alerted health officials at Firestone Liberia, Inc. of the first known case of Ebola virus disease inside the Firestone rubber tree plantation of Liberia. This report summarizes the efforts to control the Ebola outbreak among plantation workers and others receiving health care from Firestone.
